I am a Lecturer in Applied Statistics and Data Science at the University of Dhaka. I teach courses including Econometric Methods, SQL for Data Science, and Statistical Computing I, which covers Experimental Design and Demography. Previously, I have also taught Mathematical Foundations and Industrial Statistics & Operations Research.
I completed my B.S. and M.S. in Applied Statistics at the University of Dhaka. Before joining academia, I worked as a Statistical Officer at icddr,b in the Maternal and Neonatal Child Health Division.
My research focuses on clinical trial methodology and the application of machine learning in health sciences, with a particular emphasis on maternal and newborn health. I have completed two funded research projects supported by Global Affairs Canada and the University Grants Commission, Bangladesh.
